The Team commission type has been designed so that a Team manager can receive commission on sales made by their employees/recruiters. This is done based on the label on the placement.
As a simple example, you might have Team A and Team B - all placements will be given either the Team A or Team B label and you can create commission plans for the managers of each team to calculate commission based on all placements with the relevant label.
You can set up custom commission plans to suit your needs under Manage Commission Plans.
Click Add Plan and set:
Plan Name - A name for you to identify the plan by.
Placement Type - Choose Team for placements with a specific label - you'll then need to select the appropriate label.
Placement Label - This is the label attached to Placements that the Team Leader is in charge of.
Sales Group - Which Sales Group the plan applies to. If set to All then the consultant will earn commission on all placements, regardless of the consultant's Sales Group. If set to Account Manager or Recruiter, the consultant will only earn commission for placements where their Sales Group has been set to the selected Sales Group, or to All.
Target Type - Whether the commission targets are based on Revenue, Gross Margin, or a Sales Target %. If this is set to Sales Target % then the Payment Basis setting will determine whether the Sales Target is Revenue or Gross Margin based.
Target Period - How long the commission should be calculated over (month, quarter, half-year, year).
Payment Type - Whether the commission payment is calculated based on Gross Margin, a Fixed dollar amount or Revenue.
This example shows the setup for a team leader who should receive 2% of revenue over $100,000 per quarter for Placements labelled Team A:
Add the Team Leader(s) under the Consultants tab.
Make sure the Plan Label eg. Team A is added to the Placements the Team Leader is in charge of.
Once the plan and associated settings are applied you can manage the Team Leader's commission payments under the Commission tab in Invoxy.
