Invoxy can manage your consultant commissions to make pay day a breeze. You can set up custom commission plans to suit your needs under Manage > Commission Plans.
Click Add Plan and set:
Plan Name - A name for you to identify the plan by.
Plan Type - eg. Set if they only earn commission for perm, contractor, or labour hire placements, or choose Team if it's for placements with a specific label, or All if they earn this commission on all placement types.
Target Type - Whether the commission targets are based on Revenue, Gross Margin, or a Sales Target %. If this is set to Sales Target % then the Payment Basis setting will determine whether the Sales Target is Revenue or Gross Margin based.
Target Period - How long the commission should be calculated over (month, quarter, half-year, year).
Payment Basis - Whether the commission is calculated based on Gross Margin or Revenue.
Payment Frequency - How often the commission is paid. This can differ from the Revenue Period, but can not be less frequent.
From there you select the tiers with the:
Target To- The upper threshold this tier applies to. The first threshold will, by default, be from $0 (or 0% for Sales Target commissions) to the threshold specified. The next tier will be from the upper limit of the previous threshold, to the threshold specified on that tier.
Fixed Commission - A fixed commission amount the consultant should earn when they reach that tier.
Variable Commission - The percentage commission consultants should earn on all earnings falling within that tier.
You can have as many tiers as you like.
When you flick to the Consultant tab make sure you add consultants to the plan for them to accrue the commission - they can be assigned to as many plans as you like.
As the Placements they are assigned to are billed, this will show up in the Commission tab.
