Invoxy integrates with Xero, an online accounting system designed for small businesses and their accountants.
Invoices sent from Invoxy create draft accounts receivable invoices in Xero, so you can manage your aged debtors and reconcile your accounts in no time. Automatically assign revenue to different Xero account codes and create new Xero contacts from your clients in Invoxy.
Set Up Xero Integration
First, you must authorise Invoxy to access your Xero account information.
To authorise Invoxy go to Manage > Integrations and click the Connect button. This will open a Xero login window
Log into your Xero account as you would normally. You will then be asked which organisation to authorise Invoxy to access.
Select your Xero organisation and click Authorise. After a few seconds, the window will close and you will be returned to Invoxy and given the message that your company settings have been saved. You are now set up to transfer data between Invoxy and Xero.
If at anytime you want to delink Invoxy from Xero, just click Disconnect.
Set Account Codes
Under Manage > Work set the appropriate Account Code on any work items your resources will be recording their time against. When you select the Account Code from the dropdown list the Tax Rate will default according to the settings on the Account Code in Xero.
Once you're connected to Xero you're ready to send your Invoices to your Xero account.
