Labels are used throughout the application to make searching, sending messages and grouping placements easier for you.
Adding Labels to a Placement
To add a new label to a Placement, go to your Placement and click Add Label.
To create a new label, simply type in the name you want to call your label and set the colour you'd like to use with the purple drop down arrow. Then click the green plus button to add the label to your placement.
If you want to put a label on a placement that you have already created, simply click Add Label and your previous labels will appear below. Click on the one you want to apply to the Placement.
Search Placements by Labels
After you've created and added your labels you can now search for Placements by labels
On the Dashboard or the Manage Placements tabs, in the Search bar you can search by your chosen label and it will filter the Placement results to those associated with that label.
Send a Message Using Labels
With labels not only can you search Placements, you can also search People on Placements associated with that label.
This is great for when you need to send a message to remind a Resource to request approval or get a Contact to complete an approval, more on messages here.
To search go to Time then Messages, and click New Message.
In the Search bar, type your chosen label and the People associated with any Placements that have that label will appear. Select the People you wish to send a message to and complete your message.
Creating a Pay Run using Labels
To quickly create a Pay run for Placements associated with a Label (for example contract only) simply go to Payroll and click New Pay Run. To learn about Creating a Pay click here.
In the Search bar under People, search your desired Label and your People associated with the Placement that has the Label will appear.
